Castles Of War is an in-development side-scrolling real-time strategy game. A demo is available on Steam.

A medieval fantasy themed spiritual successor to our first game, Trenches of War, Castles of War builds on everything we have learned in the past decade. We've taken the proven game loop from Trenches of War and expanded gameplay to include base building, improved combat, and deeper economics, with much more to come!

I built this game using the Unity Game Engine (C#), using several Unity Editor scripts and Python utility tools I wrote. It was announced with a playable demo in November 2025 and is scheduled to be shown at MAGFest 2026.

The game community primarily exists in Discord, where we share development updates and solicit feedback from players.

In this project I was the sole programmer and lead designer. I collaborated with Sound Designer and Composer Shane Draper and Artist Nicole Braccili, both of whom contributed heavily to the game's design and overall vision.
