full-stack web development.
Lost Generation was my first full-length Perlin Noise album. It was largely a solo project, but featured three guest musicians - Tom Lessig on guitar, Eleanor Beckwith on vocals, and Marisa Miller on vocals. Each were featured on two songs and then all three were featured on the final song "Affirmation." It was mastered by Joe Lambert.
This album explored a wide variety of styles and sat halfway between the comedy rock of Nobody Watches Me and the more serious sound of later Perlin Noise releases.
I recorded this album while forming the Perlin Noise live band. In retrospect, I think I rushed it so we'd have more out there. It has some of the songs I am most proud of writing and recording - such as Strangers and Worth Your Time, but there are other songs I wish I'd spent more time on before releasing.
The album was recorded and mixed entirely in my childhood bedroom in Springfield, PA using very limited recording equipment.
